Bush-Made Cutting Boards by Okupita Namibia


A valuable addition to any discerning kitchen and a great gift from Namibia

My workshop is located on a game farm, 100 km from Windhoek.
I use carefully selected and sustainably harvested wood to expertly craft exclusive cutting boards. The boards are made of Namibian precious hardwoods. They are durable but, depending on hardness, also gentle to your blades.



Each board bears its unique serial number and, treated with my board oil and wax, will last for generations. The number of boards is limited to one hundred per year.



Unlike the usual, my boards are made from one massive piece of wood which will not warp or crack and possible fillers are certified food safe. 



Wood has natural anti-bacterial properties and is softer on knives than many plastic materials.
