Summer Salt

The business now employs around 300 men and women in the communities around Windhoek, Otjiwarongo and Swakopmund. The group has also grown to include bead artists, wood- and makalani- carvers as well as painters. The work not only generates an income for these individuals but also gives them a feeling of fulfilment, which boosts their self-esteem and recognition in their family circles and community.
